The more counting you build into your day, the more your child will feel confident to use numbers.
Count the cutlery out at dinner. Count the washing as you hang it on the line. Count down the sweets you eat from a share bag!
Number songs are a great way for your child to learn how to count, but also to develop their rhythm and rhyme.
