Year 4 children were transported back in time for an engaging and educational day with History Off The Page, immersing themselves in the fascinating world of Ancient Egypt. Pupils stepped into the roles of young Egyptians, creating their own mummies, crafting colourful amulets, and trying their hand at writing in hieroglyphics. The day culminated in a vibrant Egyptian banquet, where the children performed to the royal court, showcasing all they had learned in a truly, unforgettable celebration of history.

Yesterday, Year 6 started their final history unit focusing on the Windrush Generation. They began this unit by looking at the colonial history of Jamaica and how habits changing in England (eating more sugar) impacted other areas of the world.
