Last week, our school turned purple to celebrate and raise awareness of the incredible young carers in our community. These remarkable children show strength, kindness, and resilience every single day — and we couldn’t be prouder to recognise them as the real-life superheroes they are.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined in by dressing in purple and helping us support Young Carers Action Day 2026. Together, we’re shining a light on the amazing role young carers play and reminding them that they are valued, seen, and celebrated. Our whole school completed fun activities to understand the role of young carers in our community.

On Wednesday we had visitors from the Peterborough council to talk the children from Reception to Year 4 about the importance of recycling, how we recycle and how long it takes for different materials to disintegrate.
