Covid-19 Communication Updates
HM Government and the NHS state:
Even people without symptoms can spread coronavirus. Keep your distance. Wear a mask.
It is tough for everyone but we all need to keep doing our bit. Every action counts.
Remember - ‘Hands. Face. Space.’:
Hands – wash your hands regularly and for 20 seconds.
Face – wear a face covering in indoor settings where social distancing may be difficult, and where you will come into contact with people you do not normally meet.
Space – stay 2 metres apart from people you do not live with where possible, or 1 metre with extra precautions in place (such as wearing face coverings or increasing ventilation indoors).
Reopening of schools:

National lockdown 2.0 site changes (from 5th November 2020)
We have been reviewing the movement around site at the beginning and end of the day in light of the upcoming lockdown tomorrow. From tomorrow – Thursday 5 November, you will not be permitted to enter the site without a face mask or a visible exemption lanyard/badge, this applies to anyone over the age of 11.
We would ask parents of children in Year 2 to Year 6 to not enter the site at the end of the day until 3.10pm, the end of the school day remains 3.15pm for these year groups. KS2 children who have permission to walk home alone but make their way across to the KS1 classrooms to meet parents collecting younger siblings will be asked to wait by their classrooms for parents to arrive. If you are a parent of a child in RNB, please enter the outdoor area in order to collect your child at the end of the day. This helps to alleviate the congestion in the path running past the fence and towards KS2.
We would also ask you to be mindful of others as you arrive at and leave the site. Please ensure that you are allowing 2m distance between you and those around you wherever possible. If you need to step into a space on the playground to allow time for others to pass, please do so.
Please monitor ParentMail for all parent updates.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
Site changes (from 24th September 2020)
Please familiar yourself with the document which details important site changes from Thursday 24th September 2020.
Hometime amendment (from 8th September 2020)
Due to the volume of people exiting the gates this afternoon we have decided to open the double gates into the school car park to provide a second exit from tomorrow at the end of the school day. To maintain safety the main gates into the car park will be locked during this time to prevent cars entering the car park at this time. If you are waiting for your child outside the key stage 2 gate please wait away from the footpath and near to the benches to enable those leaving the site the space to do so. Please continue to apply social distancing rules whilst on the school site and if possible limit the number of people coming to collect your child to one family member. We thank you for your cooperation and patience.
Mrs Wood & Mr Newstead.
